Fish traps as used on rivers and estuaries since medieval times. The trap has an inverted cone or removable 'throat' at the base so that the fish can easily swim in, but then struggles to get out again.
Hand made by our in-house willow weavers, using English grown willow from managed coppices. Sold as an aesthetic prop, not for actual use!
Approximately 4' (1.22 m) long by 1' (30 cm) diameter with a 4" (10 cm) throat.
