What Thatch Styles Can I Choose?

We sell lots of different style thatch tiles, so you can achieve the look you want, whether that’s a shaggy Tiki bar or the gracious curves of an English cottage. Choose between tiered African lapa-style thatch or cool, poolside palm leaf thatch.

Cape Reed Natural Thatch Tile.

This is a direct replacement for tiles on almost all garden gazebos. A flexible, long-lasting and easy to apply natural tile that gives a neat, hard-wearing, African style stepped finish.

A flexible strip along the top is securely bonded to the cape reed tile allowing it to flex around corners and accommodate almost any roof shape.

Lifespan 5- 9 years dependant on position, environment, and roof design.

Smooth Natural Thatch Tile

For a more traditional English appearance with smooth sweeping slopes, this is a direct replacement for tiles on almost all garden gazebos (interchangeable with the stepped African style tile). A flexible, long-lasting, easy to apply natural tile.

Palm Leaf Artificial Thatch Tile

Exotic Island beach bar? This fully synthetic tile imitates palm or banana leaf thatch and is a direct replacement for tiles on almost all garden gazebos (interchangeable with the stepped African style tile). It is jet washable, so ideal next to a pool or water feature, and has an impressive 20 year tile integrity guarantee.

A flexible strip along the top is securely bonded to the synthetic banana leaves allowing them to flex around corners and accommodate almost any roof shape.

Lifespan 20 years plus dependant on position, environment and roof design.

This tile is designed more for shade than water resistance. If you want it to shed water you should board or line the roof structure benith.

Combination Thatch Tile (Synthetic & Natural)

Grass Thatch Roll

A quick and easy to use thatch material ideal for exhibition stands, festivals and concessions. We can fire retard this material to AA certification so you can use it almost anywhere.

Available as a roll or sheet, it easily staples, ties or zip ties to almost anything. It is very lightweight and easy to layer up.
