Statice (Limonium) is a genus of 120 flowering plant species. Also known as Sea Lavender, Caspia or Marsh-rosemary.
History of the statice flower shows it was once prized as a late-summer addition to bouquets. With a misty and seafoam appearance (two more names associated with this wildflower-like plant), in the language of flowers, statice symbolizes remembrance. Perfect for set dressing, props, as wedding/party decor, events/exhibitions or simply as an interesting addition to a floral display in the home.
Dried flowers are harvested from multiple locations & crops, which can sometimes be thousands of miles apart. Because of this you should always expect variation in shades of colour you receive. The products name gives you an idea of the hue you will receive, and our images are updated regularly. Let us know if your requirements differ, and we can offer further advice.
They are available in large quantities and work well woven into natural material or with our range of natural twines and yarns. These stick well with a hot glue gun.
