Sirak is the traditional material that brooms were made from. Often referred to as 'Broom' this straw like material comes from one reed end which splits into twisted arms going to a softer, bristly and wispy end, which is slightly tinged in ochre.
Perfect for making traditional brooms and sweeping tools. Can also be used perfectly to dress harvest scenes or yards. Works well as a magical or witchcraft style tool. Could also dress well as an otherworldly grass or plant.
We also sell handmade brooms using this material and made the traditional way.
We supply a wide range of artificial and dried flowers/foliage that would compliment and contrast with this product. Additionally, they could be incorporated into living foliage to add long lasting interest.
